Henry County Jail inmates can send and receive mail through the U.S. Post Office.

The return address must include the sender’s full first name, last name, and return address.

All personal mail sent to inmates, to include the envelope, will be scanned for the inmates to view electronically.

The original will be placed in the inmate's assigned property bag. 

Inmates are not allowed to receive:

          Magazines

          Newspapers

          Packages

          Pictures that contain nudity or are offensive and graphic

Inmates are allowed to receive new, unused paperback books sent from the publisher or online retailers.
