Henry County is seeking a full-time Office Manager.
This position oversees the administrative operations of the County Attorney’s Office under the direction of the County Attorney. Supervises administrative support staff and ensures work complies with policies and procedures. Administers budgetary, personnel, and accounting processes throughout the office. Administers and prepares accounts payable, vendor billing, and revenue collection, and collects and distributes funds.
Ideal candidate shall have an Associate’s Degree in business administration, experience in related administrative support, a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to work with computers and related software.
Wage is $26.13 - $36.02 per hour, depending on background and experience, plus generous benefit package.

Henry County Assistant County Attorney – Part Time
Henry County is seeking a part-time Assistant County Attorney. Under limited supervision, this position performs highly responsible legal and administrative work. The Assistant County Attorney shall maintain a caseload and provide legal assistance and consultation as necessary. Reviews cases and determines whether prosecution should be initiated and shall supervise prosecution from the time of referral and charge to final judgement. The position shall prepare legal records, documents, reports, and correspondence.
Ideal candidate shall have an advanced knowledge of criminal law, trial techniques, and strategy. The Assistant County Attorney shall be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, the media, judiciary, other County employees, and the general public. Prior prosecution experience preferred.
The Assistant County Attorney shall have graduated from an accredited school of law and be licensed to practice law in the State of Iowa.
Wage is $43.64 - $60.16 per hour, depending on background and experience, plus generous benefit package. This part time position shall be scheduled for 34 hours per week.

Henry County
Henry County is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant. Under general supervision, performs a broad range of responsible administrative work to the Henry County Attorney’s Office. This position serves as the primary individual responsible to answer incoming phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to appropriate personnel. The Administrative Assistant shall greet visitors, assist with paperwork, and manage flow in a high-security environment. Additionally, this position will receive, open, and distribute mail and assist attorneys with scheduling, coordinating witness notifications, and process subpoena paperwork.

Wage is $19.20 - $26.48 per hour, depending on background and experience, plus generous benefit package.

Henry County Victim Witness Coordinator
Henry County is seeking a full-time Victim Witness Coordinator. The position will assist the County Attorney in performing duties including, but not limited to: coordinating victims and witnesses for court hearings, depositions and trials; subpoenas witnesses, victims and law enforcement for court hearings, depositions, and trials; prepares and processes court documents; assists the victims and witnesses of crimes by providing direct service in person, by telephone and/or in writing; and complies with Iowa Code in maintaining victim registry and notifications of case status.
Ideal candidate shall have a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to work with computers and related software. Direct experience in providing crisis intervention for victims is preferred.
Wage is $26.13 - $36.02 per hour, depending on background and experience, plus generous benefit package.
