Clerk - Henry County Recorder’s Office

The Henry County Recorder’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time clerk. Applicants must be a United States citizen and possess a valid driver’s license. Pre-employment drug, health and background checks required. Position will require occasional lifting to 50 pounds and the ability to use a step ladder.

Background in real estate preferred but will train the right applicant. Applicants must be detail oriented, accurate and capable of multitasking. Excellent computer skills are essential. Must be able to work well with others and possess excellent customer service skills, both oral and written.

Our work environment is fun and fast paced. Duties include, but are not limited to recording legal documents, processing vital records, issuing DNR licenses and registrations, indexing, tidying/organizing of office.

Real Estate Clerk Henry County Auditor’s Office

The Henry County Auditor’s Office is accepting applications through April 26, 2024, for the full-time position of Real Estate Clerk.
This position is for the daily maintenance of real estate transactions. This includes mapping out real estate legal descriptions, changing ownership of property and assisting the public with research. This position also will aid in preparing property taxes. Attending training for continuing education will also be required. A good knowledge of computers and attention to detail are an important part of this position.

Public Health Director

The Henry County Board of Health is seeking a full-time Public Health Director.

Under the general direction of the Board of Health provides leadership and coordinates the professional and administrative activities of Henry County Public Health Department to accomplish the public health mission for the citizens of Henry County. Makes policy and administrative decisions as well as develops and oversees programs under the general direction of the Henry County Board of Health. Builds and enhances community partner relationships to effectively address community issues and needs.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with at least 2-years of experience in public health or a public health related field. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a public health related field with 3-years of experience will also be considered.

Salary shall be commensurate with experience and Henry County offers a generous benefit package.
