Henry County Public Health Director
The Henry County Board of Health is seeking a full-time Public Health Director.
Under the general direction of the Board of Health, this person provides leadership and coordinates the professional and administrative activities of Henry County Public Health to accomplish the public health mission for the citizens of Henry County. Makes policy and administrative decisions as well as develops and oversees programs under the general direction of the Henry County Board of Health. Builds and enhances community partner relationships to effectively address community issues and needs. Manages the department’s budget, including overseeing various grant programs.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Administration, Health Administration, Public or Community Health Social Science, Nursing, Education, or other related degree with two years of experience in Public Health or health related field.
Salary shall be commensurate with experience and Henry County offers a generous benefit package.

Henry County Information Technology – IT Support Specialist II
The IT Support Specialist II provides mid-level technical assistance to county staff, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient technology operations across all departments. This role serves as the point of contact for helpdesk issues, addressing hardware, software, peripheral, and connectivity problems with professionalism and accuracy. The Specialist maintains workstation environments, participates in system updates, assists with account administration, and supports both cloud and on-premises services. Occasional evening, weekend, or on-call work may be required to support county operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Provide Tier I–II support for computers, mobile devices, printers, and county-approved software.
· Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues; escalate complex issues when necessary.
· Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, peripherals, and applications.
· Assist with user account creation, permissions, password resets, and security compliance tasks.
· Support basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity, cabling, and configuration of end-user devices.
· Document all support activities in the county’s helpdesk/ticketing system.
· Participate in equipment lifecycle management including upgrades, replacements, and inventory tracking.
· Assist with IT projects, system deployments, and countywide technology upgrades.
Qualifications:
· Ideal candidate shall possess an associate’s degree in IT or related field and 2–4 years of technical support experience.
· Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, common business applications, and networking concepts.
· Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues effectively.
· Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and follow established procedures.
· Comfort working independently as well as part of a team.
· Participate in on-call rotation and work occasional weekends or after-hours as needed.
· Ability to document work clearly and maintain accurate records.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between county sites as required.
· Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Road Equipment Operator
Henry County Road Department is seeking
qualified individual for a full-time position with benefits of Equipment Operator
Candidate must have ability to:
operate heavy equipment, road equipment and snow plows
Excavator experience preferred
Requirements:
Valid CDL driver’s license
Pre-employment drug and physical testing
Starting wage based on qualifications and experience
