JOB OPENING

Clerk - Henry County Recorder’s Office


The Henry County Recorder’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time clerk.  Applicants must be a United States citizen and possess a valid driver’s license. Pre-employment drug, health and background checks required. Position will require occasional lifting to 50 pounds and the ability to use a step ladder.

Background in real estate preferred but will train the right applicant. Applicants must be detail oriented, accurate and capable of multitasking. Excellent computer skills are essential. Must be able to work well with others and possess excellent customer service skills, both oral and written.

Our work environment is fun and fast paced. Duties include, but are not limited to recording legal documents, processing vital records, issuing DNR licenses and registrations, indexing, tidying/organizing of office.


This position has full employee benefits including health and dental insurance, holidays, vacation, sick time and IPERS.
